Buchalter is seeking a mid-level associate, 2nd to 5th year, to join its Corporate Practice Group in the Portland office. The role involves advising clients on mergers and acquisitions, transaction execution, corporate governance, securities compliance, entity formation and maintenance, and corporate finance. Candidates should have a J.D. from a top-tier law school with excellent academic credentials, active bar admission with Oregon preferred or eligibility to waive in, strong drafting, negotiation and analytical skills, the ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced environment, and a collaborative, client-focused approach. The team works with sophisticated clients on complex, high-impact transactions across industries including technology, manufacturing, consumer products, life sciences and finance.
