Work with the engagement team to deliver multi-channel communications plans for report launches, media moments and advocacy work. Duties include delivering communications activities that support research and advocacy, overseeing the design, proofing and production of research reports, drafting content for social, website and email channels, providing messaging advice, using analytics and audience insights to improve performance, drafting and publishing media releases, managing journalist contact, scheduling interviews, building relationships with news outlets, supporting media spokespeople, evaluating media engagement, and planning and executing digital and in-person events including report launches, panel discussions and press conferences. The role requires communications experience, an understanding of the Australian media landscape, strong communications and storytelling skills, experience using media monitoring and analytical tools, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to collaborate and work proactively in a small team. Experience in a not-for-profit or progressive organisation, consumer rights, social media moderation, and communications, marketing, graphic design or related qualifications is desirable. The role reports to the Director of Engagement and Development and must operate within CPRC's AI policy.
