Personal Health MD is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant for its Concierge Primary Care Practice in Back Bay Boston. The role requires high touch communication skills, previous clinical experience, attention to detail, exceptional work ethics, and the ability to work with a professional team in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include communicating with patients, obtaining vital signs, rooming patients, managing specialty referrals and prior authorizations, phlebotomy and lab processing, assisting with procedures, and assisting the Lead RN. Applicants should have at least 3 years of Certified Medical Assistant experience, preferably in primary care, at least 3 years of experience with specialty referrals and prior authorizations, and at least 3 years of phlebotomy experience. An empathetic, personable and organized approach is required, while EPIC and Athena experience is preferred. This is a long-term, in-person position with an 8-hour day shift, 4 days per week, 32 hours per week, no weekend work, and benefits including practice contributions to a 401(k), dental insurance, health insurance, paid time off, and a retirement plan.
