Boston Outdoor Preschool Network is seeking an experienced Certified Lead Teacher for a nature-based early childhood program. The role includes planning and leading hands-on nature-based activities, documenting children's growth, supporting co-teacher reports, mentoring co-teachers, interns, and volunteers, engaging families, conducting safety checks and fire drills, maintaining required certifications and documentation, and upholding health, safety, and supervision standards. The position is part-time and salaried at approximately 22 to 24 hours per week, with teaching Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM and additional paid preparation time. EEC Lead Teacher Professional Certification is preferred, a suitable background check and EEC StrongStart Essentials 2.0 training are required, and experience with nature-based learning, child development, social-emotional learning, and staff mentorship is valued. The role involves outdoor work, varied weather, uneven terrain, frequent bending and squatting, and lifting or carrying up to 50 pounds. Anticipated pay is $28 per hour.
