Caregivers provide personal care services to people who need hands-on help with daily tasks such as bathing, dressing, and eating, as well as home activities such as cooking and cleaning. Caregivers must be at least 18 years old, do not need a certificate or license, and must complete paid employee training. Eligible caregivers may be an adult child, friend, relative, spouse, or a parent caring for a child under 21. Caregivers are paid by Medicaid through PPL and may receive weekly pay, PTO and holiday pay, and health benefit options.
