Canal Motorboats is looking for a captain to welcome guests at the quay, cruise Amsterdam's canals, keep the boat guest-ready between trips, ensure everyone aboard is safe, share stories about the city, and provide memorable guest experiences. Applicants must be at least 18 years old, hold a valid Small Boat Licence and VHF Radio Certificate, be reliable and comfortable taking responsibility, and be friendly and communicative with guests. Availability of at least 2 days a week, including weekends, and fluency in Dutch and English are required. A third language and hospitality or tourism experience are welcome. The company supports working towards an SVH diploma and offers flexible hours, competitive pay plus tips, certified sailing hours counting towards an Advanced Sailing Certificate, a dinner budget for evening shifts, and regular team drinks and company days out.
