The role involves translating data and analytics into actionable insights, creating reports, presenting observations to clients, and designing and executing transformations and analyses of large structured, unstructured, quantitative, and qualitative datasets. Responsibilities include solving problems independently, driving projects from requirements through execution, developing data analytics solutions, working with stakeholders on business needs, maintaining internal and client relationships, managing cross-functional initiatives, and communicating complex technical topics to non-technical audiences. Consultant-level candidates also need project management experience in cross-functional engagements involving accounting or finance, FP&A, modeling, or technology implementation. A bachelor's degree is required, with quantitative backgrounds such as accounting, finance, information systems, statistics, or computer science preferred. CPA or other relevant designations are preferred. Candidates should have analytics experience, preferably in a client service environment, strong communication, teamwork, presentation, project management, research, ad-hoc problem-solving, and Excel skills. Relevant competencies include Alteryx, Power Automate, Power BI, Tableau, data architecture, data modeling and analytics, data science, data visualization, solution architecture, workflow automation, SQL, Java, Python, R, relational database management systems, Snowflake, Databricks, and data engineering. Candidates should have at least one major technical competency used consistently for more than two years and at least two additional technical competencies.
