WDP is seeking a Business Development Manager to cover Spain, with Valencia as the operational hub. Reporting to the Country Manager of Spain, the role involves building local market intelligence and a commercial network in Valencia and eastern Spain, identifying and qualifying opportunities, winning commercial leads, and establishing WDP's local market position. Responsibilities include acting as WDP's local ambassador, implementing the commercial strategy, attracting companies seeking logistics real estate solutions, maintaining relationships with real estate agents, developing new sites, seeking acquisitions of existing logistics buildings, mapping local market stakeholders, leading contract negotiations, and monitoring logistics sector trends including smart buildings, energy solutions, and sustainability. Applicants should have a master's degree or relevant professional experience, a proven track record in a logistics-driven environment, and 5 to 10 years of experience in logistics real estate or a related field. Experience with logistics or industrial real estate is required. Spanish and English fluency, a commercial mindset, initiative, communication skills, and the ability to build long-term relationships are required.
