Railtown Catering is hiring professional, confident and service-driven Bartenders for its off-site catering event team. The role works under the direction of the Event Manager to set up and tear down mobile bar service, prepare beverages and cocktails, organize glassware, assist with loading and unloading products and equipment, provide engaging customer service, maintain clean and organized beverage service areas, and support smooth event execution. Applicants need a minimum of 2 years of bartending or food and beverage experience, Serving It Right certification, strong customer service and communication skills, the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods, and flexible availability for evenings, weekends and holidays. A valid BC driver's licence is an asset but not required. The position offers approximately 10 to 20 hours per week, shifts averaging 6 to 10 hours, a starting wage of $18 per hour based on experience plus cash gratuities typically ranging from $10 to $20 per hour, a supportive team environment, a 30% Railtown Café discount, a complimentary staff meal per shift, career growth opportunities and 4% vacation pay.
