The Associate Director of Development, Negaunee Music Institute designs, implements, and coordinates fundraising supporting the Negaunee Music Institute, including the Civic Orchestra of Chicago. Duties include identifying, cultivating, and soliciting donors; leading annual revenue goals; serving as the Development liaison to the NMI Board of Directors and staff; managing board governance and stewardship; leading fundraising for the IMPACT showcase concert and benefit event; maintaining donor and gift tracking; managing Civic Orchestra donor recognition and stewardship; preparing fundraising reports; and supporting development events and concerts. The role requires a bachelor's degree, a love of and appreciation for classical music and music education, at least five years of increasingly responsible development or related experience, relationship management experience, excellent writing and communication skills, computer literacy, project management skills, and availability to work evenings and weekends as necessary. The salary range is $78,000 to $82,000.
