Prepare credit memos on new deals and annual reviews for extensions of credit to private equity funds, private credit funds, business development companies and asset management companies. Perform financial, industry and risk analysis to support derivative, financing and lending activity. Work with relationship managers, business lines, risk partners, legal and clients to structure transactions and credit terms. Assign internal risk ratings, use credit analytics tools to simulate counterparty credit risk exposures, evaluate complex fund structures, lead client due diligence meetings, train junior team members and participate in projects improving credit risk frameworks and tools. A bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics or a related field and three years of experience in offered or related roles are required, including experience with financial sponsors and alternative funds, private investment fund analysis, counterparty credit risk, banking products, key legal agreements, private equity and private credit financing, Microsoft tools and portfolio management. Telecommuting is permitted 40% within normal commuting distance of the New York office. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 9am to 5pm, 40 hours per week. Salary is $140,000 to $150,000 per year.
