John Cabot University continuously reviews CVs for adjunct faculty capable of teaching a broad range of liberal arts subjects in English, except where noted. Candidates are strongly recommended to have a PhD or terminal degree in their area of study, except for language and professional courses. Preference is given to candidates with teaching experience in a student-centered learning environment. Courses are normally 3 hours per week over two days during a 15-week semester, with class sizes generally between 10 and 25 students. Areas currently reviewed include Accounting, Art and Design, Art History, Classical Studies, Communication and Media Studies, Computer Science, Economics, English Composition, History, Marketing, Mathematics and Statistics, Philosophy, Psychology, and Religious Studies. The stipend per course ranges from €4,200 to €4,300 gross.
