Details.
Choate's corporate experienced hire fellowship is a selective, merit-based program for law students with significant prior experience relevant to transactional practices. Fellows join the 2027 Summer Associate class, work exclusively with the corporate group, receive client team assignments, training, coaching, mentors and corporate department staffing. The program provides standard weekly summer associate compensation, consistent with a first-year associate salary, plus an additional $25,000 award distributed at milestones. Applicants must be enrolled as a first-year student in good standing at an ABA-accredited law school with an anticipated Spring 2028 graduation, have exemplary academic and achievement records, at least two years of relevant pre-law-school work experience and a sincere intention to practice transactional law at Choate after graduation. Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis in early 2026.
