Brown Rudnick's 1L Social Mobility Diversity Fellowship is for first-year U.S. law students enrolled at an ABA-accredited law school who identify as first-generation professionals, have an established record of achievement, and have demonstrated a commitment to civic involvement that promotes diversity, equity, and inclusion. Fellows join the Summer Associate Program, work on a wide variety of matters as integral members of client teams, attend firm events, lectures, and trainings throughout law school, and receive individualized coaching from professional development experts. Fellows may receive a scholarship of up to $30,000 in addition to summer associate compensation. The role is based in Boston, New York, or Washington, D.C., and supports the Dispute Resolution and Restructuring and Corporate and Capital Markets departments.
