Course for creating music for film and other visual media, covering emotion, synchronisation, computer tools, arrangement, orchestration, score analysis, music software and the relationship between composer, director and sound engineer. Students complete 8 to 10 projects based on film sequences of 2 to 4 minutes, culminating in a final project recorded with an orchestra and edited to image. The programme includes 15 sessions of 3 hours, 3 master classes of 5 hours and 2 optional 15-hour stages, with 7 to 10 students. Musical theory and harmony, experience in music for picture and specified software are required.
