Collective workshop exploring Soul, Rhythm'n Blues, Funk, House, Acid Jazz and current groove. Work includes rhythm and brass sections, group sound, accompaniment of vocalists, lead and backing vocals, harmonic and rhythmic analysis, body feel and improvisation. Workshops may give presentations in concerts organised by the school. The course runs for 30 classes per year, 1 hour 30 minutes per week, with 7 to 10 students. Experience playing in an ensemble and mastery of the instrument are required, with tests and an audition.
