Collective Salsa workshop studying mainly Puerto Rican and New York Cuban repertoire from the 1970s and 1980s. Students work on ensemble roles, increasingly complex repertoire, rhythm, stylistic characteristics, improvisation and instant arrangements. A Salsa history course and specialised individual instrument lessons are also offered. The course runs for 30 classes per year, 1 hour 30 minutes per week, with 8 to 12 students. Tests and an audition are held at the start of the year.
