Collective workshop studying Brazilian rhythms and styles including Samba, Bossa Nova, Chôro, Baião, Frêvo, Maracatu and Samba-Jazz. Students perform representative repertoire, study contemporary pieces and create arrangements collectively. The course runs for 30 classes per year, 1 hour 30 minutes per week, with 7 to 10 students. Tests and an audition are held at the start of the year.
