Cultural lecture course studying Jazz and Blues through significant recordings and examples performed by the teacher. Topics include active listening, Jazz characteristics, musical structure, interpretation, instrumentation, sound treatment, rhythm, ensemble practices and the Blues in its cultural, harmonic and sonic dimensions. The course is available on request at registration, with no required level.
