Annual 250-hour professional training course for students who have completed the second year of the Erboristeria course and passed the examination, or for applicants with suitable basic training following an orientation interview. The programme covers human anatomy, physiology and pathology, botany, chemistry, pharmacognosy, herbal laboratory work, and management and marketing of a herbalist business. Students learn the health, aesthetic and cosmetic use of medicinal plants, extraction and production methods, quality controls, laboratory equipment, and business management. External exercises in a botanical garden may be organised. Final assessment consists of a practical multidisciplinary questionnaire and an oral interview. Admission to the examination requires attendance of at least 70% of lessons. The course runs for 9 hours per week over 2 days, with a maximum of 10 students.
