Details.
Canterbury-Bankstown Libraries' program for children aged 0 to 6, designed to encourage parents to read regularly with their child before they start school. Register at a local library and collect a reading log. Children need their own library card to join and receive a starter kit. Books read in any language, at story time, home, playgroup, childcare, as eBooks or as videos of books can be counted. After every 100 books, participants can collect a library bag and badge. The program finishes when the child starts school or reads 1,000 books, whichever comes first, after which they can collect a certificate and prize pack. Free.
