The ideal candidate is intelligent, well organized, able to multitask, and skilled in legal research, writing, and courtroom advocacy. Responsibilities include representing clients in legal proceedings, drafting pleadings, motions, and memoranda, conducting legal research and discovery, developing case strategy, attending hearings, pre-trials, depositions, and trials, communicating with clients, managing caseloads, and collaborating with attorneys and legal staff. Requirements include a Juris Doctor from an accredited law school, admission and good standing in Massachusetts, with Rhode Island also sought, 3 to 5 years of experience, strong research, writing, and advocacy skills, and the ability to manage priorities and work collaboratively.
