MetroLink invites applications for an experienced Engineering & Sustainability Director to lead the Engineering and Sustainability function for Ireland's largest transport infrastructure programme. The role is accountable for developing and assuring the design and engineering brief, and for setting requirements, standards and processes for design and design assurance across the programme. Responsibilities include leading the Engineering function, overseeing reference, tender and contractor design, supporting procurement, establishing the Technical Authority and a systems engineering team, embedding operating procedures, and managing the programme's reputation. Applicants should have experience leading engineering functions and complex, safety critical capital programmes, ideally including tunnelling and underground construction, system integration, assurance, whole asset lifecycle management, engineering standards, sustainable technologies and public sector capital projects. A relevant engineering degree is required, with chartered membership of a professional body preferred. Applications were requested by 10.00am on 10th August.
