Remote role working on SaaScada's cloud-native core banking platform. Duties include designing and building backend microservices in Node.js and Go using event-sourced CQRS architecture, integrating with banking and payment rails, FX and crypto exchanges, card issuers and processors, and transaction monitoring systems. The role also covers data modelling across SQL and NoSQL databases, asynchronous workflows and data pipelines, Vue.js UI components, highly available and secure APIs, and deployment across AWS, GCP and Azure. Engineers work directly on customer problems and own features end-to-end, from design and development through testing, documentation, release, monitoring and operational support. Applicants should have strong programming skills, experience with public cloud infrastructure and cloud-native architectures, relational and non-relational data models, Vue.js or another modern frontend framework, API and distributed systems design, secure coding, observability and fault tolerance. The role requires curiosity about agent-based software engineering, comfort with complex financial domains, ownership, communication skills and commercial awareness. A first class honours degree in computer science or equivalent evidence of commitment or achievement is strongly beneficial.
