Trainee placements are thoughtfully structured to support clinical learning and professional development. The role offers meaningful client experience in a supportive, professionally held environment, with opportunities to grow in confidence, strengthen therapeutic skills and work with clients in a carefully supported setting. Trainees are part of a small, collaborative practice that values reflection, ethical awareness and ongoing professional growth. Sessions may be offered in person and online, allowing trainees to build a manageable caseload in line with their training requirements. Applicants must be enrolled on a recognised counselling or psychotherapy training programme, hold recognised professional body membership, have valid professional indemnity insurance, provide written confirmation from their training provider approving client work, undertake ongoing external clinical supervision, hold a valid DBS certificate, and complete Online/Phone Therapy training or similar when intending to work online. Applicants must also demonstrate ethical practice, confidentiality, professional responsibility, reliability, reflective capacity and openness to professional feedback.
