Support, train and coach team members to consistently produce food at OATIS Queensway. Take ownership of the smooth running of shifts alongside Managers and oversee back of house operations. Run food service independently, prepare, cook, warm, plate and finish dishes, maintain food quality and follow dish specifications. Receive products from suppliers, manage portioning, rotation and wastage, promote the menu and food quality, maintain food hygiene and health and safety standards, organise storage, clean equipment and work efficiently during busy periods. Previous leadership experience in a brunch-style or food service kitchen within a high-end food and beverage environment is required. The role offers training, development and opportunities to progress into management and earn professional qualifications. Positions are available part time at 16 or 24 hours per week, with shifts spread over 5 days from Monday to Sunday. Availability is required from 5:30am to 6:00pm. Pay is £12.25 to £13.50 per hour, with meals and hot drinks while working, a 50% discount when not working, and a refer a friend scheme.
