Uses trained animals to enhance physical, emotional, and social well-being, improve self-esteem, reduce anxiety, and facilitate healing. Therapy dog Bauer may participate as a co-therapist at the client's request, providing touch, affection, reassurance, mindfulness support, and relaxation. The service may support people experiencing daily stressors, trauma, anxiety, posttraumatic stress disorder, sadness, depression, grief, or isolation. Appointments are currently offered virtually by phone or video, with in-office visits to resume when safe.
