Linea Caffe is hiring an experienced full-time barista for its new Dolores Park location, slated to open in late summer 2026. The role requires a minimum of three years of high-paced cafe experience, including dialing in espresso and other brew methods, steaming milk, pouring latte art, and discussing coffee with customers to Linea standards. Responsibilities and requirements include maintaining a clean workspace, providing each guest a positive experience, being a compassionate team member, showing curiosity and enthusiasm for coffee and other cafe goods, managing time effectively, taking initiative, lifting 30 pounds, pushing or pulling 50 pounds, standing for 6 or more hours, and crouching, bending, navigating the cafe floor, and climbing ladders or stairs as needed. Weekend availability is required for regularly scheduled shifts on Saturday or Sunday, or both. The position offers 28 to 35 hours per week, two days off per week, pay beginning at $22 per hour plus tips, and Linea health care benefits after 30 days of employment.
