Depending on the patient's needs, it may support preconception and fertility treatment, pregnancy-related discomforts such as nausea, vomiting, sciatica, sacral pain, ligament pain, sleep problems and anxiety, breech presentation, cervical maturation and birth preparation, postpartum recovery, breastfeeding concerns, post-birth pain, healing, perineal issues, and recurring vaginal or urinary infections. A session includes a general Chinese medicine interview, a clinical examination including pulse and tongue assessment, followed by placement of fine single-use needles according to the energy diagnosis.
