Lead weekend retail operations at Cakes by Klein in the East Village. Open the shop, prepare cookie batches, dial in espresso, stock the display, greet customers, run Square POS, make espresso drinks, share the bakery story, manage busy service, clean and restock at closing, and occasionally assist with cake deliveries and wedding order prep. Requires at least one year of customer-facing experience, an NYC food handler license or willingness to obtain one, confidence with Square POS, reliable transportation to St. Marks and Avenue A, and legal authorization to work in the US. Basic barista experience, baking experience, and Instagram or TikTok fluency are a plus.
