Woodmeister is seeking an experienced Field Technician with a background in finish carpentry for its Nantucket Service team. The role independently handles routine and emergency maintenance and repairs at client properties, including property walk-throughs, problem diagnosis, preventative maintenance, millwork and construction repairs, hardware installation, painting, finish carpentry, door and window installation, kitchen and bathroom work, minor plumbing, home maintenance, subcontractor oversight, documentation, and client relationships. Qualifications include a high school diploma, preferably technical training in carpentry or construction, residential maintenance and repair knowledge, the ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, strong organization and communication skills, safe operation of hand and power tools, millwork installation and touch-up painting experience, subcontractor coordination skills, and familiarity with Procore. A valid driver's license and ability to operate a company vehicle are required. The role requires 24/7 availability on a rotating schedule, typically one week on and three weeks off.
