The Travis County Commissioners Court has approved a waiver for the cost of a Development Permit and Septic Permits for those affected by the recent July 2025 Flood Event. To have the fee waived, owners must sign a Permit Fee Waiver Request and submit it with their application or applications. Repairs to flood damaged structures and new structures require a development permit. If a damaged or replacement septic system is involved, a Septic OSSF Permit is required. Applications for repairs must include a line item cost estimate on contractor letterhead.
