Details.
A minimally invasive procedure to remove visible, bulging veins beneath the skin. Performed under local anaesthetic using tiny incisions and a fine hook to gently extract the affected veins. Suitable for patients with prominent, lumpy surface veins who are not taking blood-thinning medication, including those with discomfort, heaviness or cosmetic concerns. Typically requires one session per leg, although legs with minimal veins may sometimes be treated together. Patients can resume normal activities immediately, with walking encouraged. Avoid intense exercise for three days, wear compression stockings day and night for three days, remove bandages after 24 hours and Steristrips after three days. Avoid swimming and bathing until the incisions have healed, usually within 3 to 7 days. Bruising and tenderness generally resolve within 1 to 2 weeks, while complete healing may take up to six weeks.
