Perform high-quality obstetric dating scans and gynaecological scans to assess for RPOC, including early pregnancy and second-trimester dating scans, HC measurements to determine gestational age, and post-treatment checks. Applicants must be a qualified sonographer or registered Adult Nurse or Midwife with a Post Graduate Certificate in Medical Ultrasound, at least one year of experience since completing the qualification, and NMC or HCPC registration. The role also requires a client-focused team player who can advise, support and occasionally mentor nurses or midwives. Experience participating in audits, performing obstetric ultrasound examinations, and teaching or training is sought. Duties include maintaining scan standards and up-to-date knowledge, supporting nurses and midwives, following clinical policies and guidelines, helping manage the ultrasound service, and assisting with investigations into DATIX and serious incidents.
