Coinme is seeking a growth-minded Senior Engineer to build software and integrations for accepting, disseminating, and liquidating fiat and crypto funds needed to fulfill customer transactions. Responsibilities include designing solutions for complex technical and business problems, developing scalable software systems and components, writing maintainable code, authoring unit and integration tests, participating in Scrum planning, driving engineering excellence and operational stability, contributing to architecture discussions, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders, mentoring engineers, and supporting recruiting. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent experience, 5+ years of software development experience, experience building scalable services and distributed systems in Java or a similar object-oriented language, and experience with Java, Spring Boot, microservices, messaging technologies such as Kafka, RESTful APIs, MySQL, and Kubernetes or cloud development platforms. The position is fully remote for candidates residing in Croatia and may require periodic travel.
