MEYERS+ ENGINEERS is seeking a candidate to join its Building Performance Team in San Francisco. The role focuses on energy and carbon efficiency, as well as daylight, thermal comfort, and air quality. Responsibilities include learning and applying building modeling and analysis tools, communicating findings to clients and colleagues, and developing strategies to reduce energy consumption and carbon emissions, generate renewable energy, improve daylight and occupant comfort, improve indoor air quality, support occupant health and productivity, and improve water efficiency and reuse non-potable water sources. The position offers education and mentorship from firm Principals, experience across commercial, residential, civic, and entertainment buildings, and exposure to Title 24, ASHRAE, LEED, WELL, and other certifications. The company seeks a communicative person comfortable in a collaborative workspace, with a passion for architecture and engineering related to sustainable, innovative, high-performing buildings. Preferred majors include Building Science, Mechanical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, Construction Engineering, General Engineering, and Civil or Environmental Engineering.
