at Sydney Urodynamic Centre · Sydney

Details.

A doctor discusses the test with you, and a gynaecological examination may be performed. The test involves small tubes placed into the bladder and rectum, filling the bladder with fluid, and monitoring bladder function using specialist equipment including ultrasound. Results are interpreted and a report is sent to your doctor within 2 weeks. Allow 1 to 2 hours. Empty your bladder approximately 90 minutes before the appointment, eat and drink normally, and do not take bladder medication such as Vesicare or Ditropan for 24 hours before the test.
