An early anatomy scan performed at 13 weeks of pregnancy. Includes confirmation of the due date, detailed early fetal anatomy assessment including the brain, face, heart, abdomen, spine and limbs, nuchal translucency measurement, pre-eclampsia risk assessment, and examination of the placenta, cervix, amniotic fluid volume and ovaries. A combination of trans-abdominal and trans-vaginal scanning is generally required. The nuchal translucency measurement is available when the fetus is not older than 13 weeks and 6 days.
