In-person and video consultations are available. The appointment includes a discussion of the child's medical history, symptoms, relevant family background and concerns, followed by a physical examination including assessment of the heart, heart rate, blood pressure, oxygen levels and general growth measurements. Where clinically appropriate, an ECG and echocardiogram may be performed and interpreted during the same appointment. Findings and next steps are explained before departure. No GP referral is required to book directly, although insurers may require one.
