Removal of moles, cysts, warts, skin tags and lipomas for practical or cosmetic reasons. Treatment may involve non-surgical methods, local anaesthetic, surgical excision, laser therapy or photo-activated chemicals, depending on the type, size and location of the lesion. The procedure is carried out in a day case theatre, with patients able to leave shortly afterwards. Recovery is expected immediately, although soreness, swelling or bruising may occur.
