Awardees receive a 100% subsidy for a 30 sqm studio apartment in Paris. The studio comprises one large room off an entrance, with a partitioned sleeping area, kitchenette and bathroom. Applicants can choose a two-month residency, subject to availability. The application is open all year round, and applicants should apply at least six months before the intended residency start date. NAFA staff, alumni, and Singaporean and Southeast Asian artists with five years of art practice experience may apply. Applications can be made by an individual artist or a collective of up to two artists. A co-resident must meet the eligibility criteria and pay an additional monthly fee according to the co-residency rates set by Cité internationale des arts.
