Full-time, permanent, term-time-only role for an experienced HLTA or Learning Mentor, working 32.5 hours per week over 39 weeks. The role involves providing learning and emotional support to pupils, including 1:1 and very small group work, planning and delivering basic literacy and numeracy activities, assisting class teachers with daily administrative tasks, and supporting pupils with emotional, social, behavioural and special educational needs. Duties include identifying barriers to learning, planning support, maintaining pupil records, working with teachers, families, the SENCo, the Inclusion Co-ordinator and external agencies, supporting behaviour management, transitions, attendance and safeguarding, and contributing to the Catholic ethos of the school. Applicants should have at least two years' experience working with children aged 3 to 11 in an educational setting, relevant Learning Mentor training or professional development, good language and numeracy skills, and the ability to work flexibly, collaboratively and sensitively.
