Join Solana Psychology as a subcontractor or employee, working 2 to 4 half-day shifts per week in Coburg, Melbourne. Some after-hours or weekend availability is required, with days negotiated collaboratively. The role involves relational, trauma-informed clinical work, often with clients undertaking longer-term treatment journeys. Applications are welcomed from experienced practitioners and early-career or newly registered clinicians with strong reflective capacity and an interest in relational and trauma-informed work. Previous private practice experience is desired but not essential. Essential requirements include full registration with AHPRA or AASW, the ability to provide Medicare rebates to clients, an ABN, current professional indemnity and public liability insurance up to $20 million, current Police and Working With Children Checks, strong knowledge of professional and ethical standards, autonomy while valuing collegial connection, and excellent communication skills with a relational approach. Desirable experience includes Level 2 EMDR training, confidence working with complex trauma, and interest or training in relational, psychodynamic, somatic, IFS, schema, or integrative trauma approaches.
