Waterloo Greenway Conservancy is seeking a Grants Manager to develop, manage, and execute grant funding work, including researching, writing, applying, reporting, and stewarding grant-related efforts. The role manages grant portfolios, coordinates and typically leads grant proposal preparation, identifies philanthropic and governmental funding opportunities, develops cases for support, communicates with funders, maintains grant records and deadlines, and coordinates meetings and site visits. Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in a research and writing-focused field or equivalent experience, at least three years of philanthropic grant writing and management experience, a proven record of successfully awarded and well-managed grants, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple deadlines and collaborate across departments. Project management experience is strongly preferred. The position requires reliable transportation, some evening and weekend hours, and occasional outdoor work.
