NYS-approved, DMV-approved online course covering New York vehicle and traffic laws, safe driving behaviors, defensive driving skills, dangers of driving under the influence, and common risks for new drivers. Includes nine learning modules, a course recap, interactive activities, quizzes after each chapter, required identity authentication, and DMV completion reporting. Available to anyone age 18 or older with a valid NYS photo learner's permit and those who did not complete Driver's Ed in the last 2 years. The course must be completed within 30 days and is not intended to help students pass the road test.
