Miller & Company is seeking a highly motivated accountant for its Fort Myers and Sarasota offices. The role focuses on audit and tax work for real estate and HOA clients in a collaborative, fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include conducting condominium and HOA audits, preparing and reviewing federal and state tax returns including Forms 1120-H, 1120-C, 1065, and 1120-S, performing financial analysis, assisting clients with audit findings and tax implications, coordinating with internal teams, maintaining documentation, and staying current on accounting updates and HOA regulations. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field, 3 to 7 years of public accounting experience in audit and tax, strong knowledge of GAAP and relevant tax codes, and the ability to manage multiple assignments. HOA experience, CIRA experience, proficiency with the listed tax forms, and familiarity with CCH Engagement, UltraTax, and Excel are preferred. CPA certification is preferred but not required.
