Lead a wide range of structural engineering projects and mentor a new generation of engineers. Projects include commercial, residential, historic, temporary structures, excavation shoring, and underpinning. Responsibilities include serving as a primary point of contact with architects, owners, and contractors, performing structural calculations and computer analysis, preparing drawings using AutoCAD and/or Revit, and providing construction support including shop drawing and submittal reviews, RFI responses, and site visits for structural observation. Requirements include a B.S. degree in civil or structural engineering, a California P.E. license, 5 to 10 years of structural engineering experience, effective communication and collaboration skills, knowledge of current codes and standards, and experience with structural calculations, computer analysis, and AutoCAD and/or Revit. An M.S. in structural engineering and California S.E. license are a plus.
