London Translations offers internship and Future Leaders Programme opportunities for university students, graduates and early-career candidates. The Linguist Department role involves assisting with translation projects, proofreading, learning about new CAT tools, assisting senior staff, contacting linguists and helping with project management when required. Candidates must have or be working towards a degree in translation, translation and interpretation, or translation with a language. English is required at C1 level or above, together with mother-tongue or near-native French, Italian, English, Spanish or German. The programmes are flexible, based at the head office in Stirling, Scotland, and unpaid. Internships last longer than 90 days and shorter than 180 days, starting on a Monday and ending on a Friday. The Future Leaders Programme is aimed at ambitious graduates and does not guarantee a full-time position.
