All Early Intervention Program services are provided at no cost to parents. Services are for children under age 3 who are suspected of having or at risk for developmental delays or disabilities. Eligibility is determined only by state-approved evaluators, and services must be authorized by the NYC Early Intervention Official. Health insurance may be used for approved services. EI services may be delivered in childcare settings or community locations on request, with parents responsible for any childcare fees in those locations.
