CDIM Engineering is seeking an environmental geologist for a leadership role supporting contaminated site projects and developing new client relationships. Work includes subsurface investigation, sediment, PCB, RI/FS, groundwater modeling, and vapor intrusion projects. Duties include developing client relationships, providing quality assurance on environmental geology and hydrogeology projects, managing scopes, budgets, and schedules, overseeing subcontractors, planning and documenting field activities, evaluating contamination data, supporting site assessment, remediation, hydrogeology, and environmental risk management services, supporting remediation system design, performing technical analyses such as groundwater modeling and geospatial analysis, and preparing reports, proposals, and cost estimates. Qualifications include a bachelor's or master's degree in geology, 10 or more years of environmental industry experience, a PG license, 40-hour HAZWOPER certification, knowledge of California and federal environmental regulations, environmental investigations and remediation technologies, soil and water quality, strong professional judgment, and clear verbal and written communication skills. The position is based in San Francisco and the employee's home office, with regular travel to client sites throughout the San Francisco Bay Area. The anticipated base salary is $125,000 to $200,000, with potential additional compensation through profit sharing, bonuses, incentives, and company partnership or ownership.
